The Program Specialist I, under general supervision, performs entry-level specialist duties for a department, college, or division.


-Coordinates all aspects of graduate admissions at Texas A&M University-Central Texas. Assists as needed with retention, progression, or completion requirements.

-Provides high quality customer service to prospective and current students, the university and the community.

-Maintains records systems; runs audit reports. Assists with data collection and reporting for assessment.

-Responsible for all aspects ofMCEC; graduate certificates; CEs, CEUs.

-Works with student worker as directed.

-Assists with day-to-day functions of office, reports to Senior Graduate Specialist.

-Other duties as assigned or needed.

**Minimum Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills:**

Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in related field preferred.

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.

Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
